Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website or contact us, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Vladiant LTD ("we", "us", "our"), trading as Vladiant Solutions, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16108868, with its registered office at 85 Great Portland Street, First Floor, London, England, W1W 7LT. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, we are the data controller for the personal data described below.
If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at info@vladiant.com.
2. What data we collect
We only collect the data you choose to give us, plus the minimum technical information needed to run the site securely.
Information you provide
- When you use our contact form: your name, email address, company name (optional), subject and the contents of your message.
- When you use our quote form: your name, email address, company name, phone number (optional), the services you're interested in, indicative budget and timeline, and your project description.
- Any further details you include when you email us directly.
Information collected automatically
- A single strictly-necessary session cookie (
PHPSESSID) used to protect our forms against cross-site request forgery. It is removed when you close your browser. - Standard server logs your hosting provider may keep (such as IP address and request time) for security and reliability.
3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Responding to your enquiry or quote request | Steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract; our legitimate interest in answering enquiries |
| Providing services you've engaged us for | Performance of a contract |
| Keeping the website secure (CSRF protection, anti-spam) | Our legitimate interest in protecting the site and its users |
| Meeting legal, accounting and tax obligations | Compliance with a legal obligation |
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we will not send you marketing without a separate, clear opt-in.
4. Cookies and third parties
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies by default. The only cookie set is the strictly-necessary session cookie described above, which does not require consent under the regulations.
We load fonts from Google Fonts. When the site renders, your browser requests these files from Google's servers, which means your IP address is shared with Google for that purpose. If you prefer to avoid this, the fonts can be self-hosted on request. If you later add analytics, a chat widget or similar tools, this section must be updated and a cookie banner may be required.
5. Who we share it with
We don't sell your data, and we don't share it except with trusted providers who help us operate, such as our hosting provider (OVH). These act as our processors under appropriate agreements. We may also disclose data where we are legally required to do so.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiry and quote submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond and, where relevant, to manage the resulting relationship typically up to 12 months after our last contact, after which they are deleted. Records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons are retained for the period the law requires.
7. How we protect it
Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and protected by anti-spam and CSRF safeguards. Access to enquiry records is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your data safe.
8. Your rights
Under UK/EU data protection law you have the right to access your data; to have inaccurate data corrected; to have your data erased; to restrict or object to processing; and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email info@vladiant.com and we'll respond within one month.
If you believe we've handled your data improperly, you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or your local supervisory authority.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date shown alongside reflects the current version. Material changes will be made prominent on this page.
